Incredible 19th century parlor lamp standing 37 1/2 inches tall to the top of the chimney. Extremely ornate brass base with a snake head on each corner and a face in 4 places.
2 bronze cherubs holding the lamp. A beautiful stone column that I assume is onyx. Beautiful brass ormolu oil tank with 4 faces topped off with a burgundy shade with floral pattern on 2 sides.
Shade shows some signs of age and has normal roughness on the fitter edge consistent with age. Floral hand painting is all in tact. Burgundy portion of the shade has some minor fading and is less glossy than it likely once was.
