1880s Hobbs Antique Coral Seaweed Cranberry Opalescent Glass Oil Lamp Electric
17 height top top of chimney (Approximately). Hobbs "Coral reef/Seaweed Optic" pattern Font. This lamp does have its original brass collar but no burner. It comes with a screw in electric "burner" area (works) and a chimney. Font is attached to an ornate Cast Iron base marked PAT APLD FOR, but I believe this to be a possible mismatch. In Thuros Vol II, this lamp can be seen but with a clear glass stem/base. I cannot say with certainty if the base is original to the lamp. It has been with this font for a very long time (dirt buildup around the area where they meet shows this to be the case). Beautiful cranberry glass with white opalescent "coral reef".
