STUNNING ANTIQUE OIL LAMP BASE, CAST BRASS STAND, DROP IN FONT, CERAMIC BASE. STUNNING ANTIQUE OIL LAMP BASE This beautiful base stands 25.5cm tall to the top of the bayonet fit collar with an approximate diameter at its widest point of 18cm Starting at the base, the cast brass is of exceptional quality and depicts a stylised beasts head above curved pawed feet. This supports a shallow pedestal bowl which has a textured ground and beautiful handpainted foliate design of a blackberry stem with flowers and fruit. This design is repeated on a grey ground on the top of the ceramic drop in font with its brass container. All th decoration is enhanced with glittering gold, there is some wear to this addition on the top of the font.
