RARE Success 19th c. Owl Banquet Lamp Oil Kerosene Converted to Electric GWTW

This is an EXQUISITE banquet lamp featuring three hand-painted owls. Made by Success (marked on the wick adjuster) in the 19th century.

Originally an oil or kerosene lamp converted to electric. Wonderful cranberry fading to pink background.

This lamp measures 24 1/2 tall to top of globe shade x approx. Lights top and bottom, but not separately.

On/off switch on the base. Comes with clear glass chimney. Original brass fittings and heat ring. Oil font is removable should you want to convert it back to oil or kerosene. Very hard to find lamp.

Condition: There is a scratch (please see last photo) and some light surface grime commensurate with age. The lamp is otherwise in very good condition.
