Pair of bronzed antique colza oil lamps with shades moderator

Pair of bronzed antique colza oil lamps urns, moderators. With the original ribbed frosted glass shades. Sadly one shade has a bad crack and the other shade has 3 very small hairline fissures from the rim extending by at most 1cm.

Matched pair and are brass/bronze Moderators and seem to have all the workings intact. Urn Shape is predominantly the Greek /Roman style neo classical which was part of the classical revival in the 1800s and a super fashion at that time, as it smacks of sheer beauty and quality. THE BOTTOM OF THE VESSLE HAS JS INSCRIBED. I think they are French, about 1790 -1810 and rare.

I would go as far as to say they are museum quality and i think the internals are all present. I dont think they have been messed about and certainly not restored. HEIGHT to top of shade 26.5" and width of the vessel 8". Most of my items are antique and vintage.
