Oil Lamp, Pink Satin Glass Overlay, Acanthus Leaf Decor To Shade, Base & Font
STUNNING ORIGINAL PINK SATIN GLASS OVERLAY OIL LAMP This beautiful oil lamp stands 58.5cm tall to the top of the clear glass chimney. The base has a diameter of 15.5cm. Starting at the base the wrythen form moulding rises up to the balluster column with a wrythen swirl and moulded acanthus leaf decoration. This same decor is mirrored on the font. The lamp has a later brass Gaudard burner.
The shade again has the moulded Acanthus leaf decoration against a graduated pink ground. The vesta style has a frilled top. Rare to find a lamp with original and matching glass components.
