Antique Victorian Gold Cast Iron Pull Down Country Store Oil Lamp Chandelier

This is a stunning original antique (late 19th century) cast iron pull-down country store oil lamp in incredible (near-mint) condition! The original gold finish is intact on all cast iron pieces and shows very little wear. There is some minor spottiness to the finish in a few areas because of age, but it looks absolutely fantastic overall. Nothing is broken, repaired, or missing, and the pull-down mechanism is fully functional. It comes with a milk glass shade and smoke bell, clear glass chimney, and frosted oil font with clear star pattern around the sides. All glass pieces look excellent with no visible damage. The font has an electric socket on top but no cord, and it could easily be converted back to oil by screwing a new burner onto the top (or to electrify it, it might just need a cord). There are patent dates on several of the parts, all from the 1870s. None of the markings show the maker. The lamp measures 14" across the shade and hangs down a total of about 28" from the ceiling, but can be pulled down to 38 from the ceiling.
