Antique Victorian Fostoria Parlor Banquet Lamp GWTW Hurricane Kerosene Oil Lamp

Antique Victorian 1890s - 1910s Fostoria Yellow painted Milk Glass Shades with CAST BRONZE Cherub / Angels Base. The Fostoria Glass Company was incorporated July, 1887 in Fostoria Ohio then later moved to West Virginia. Fostorias first products were kerosene lamps. And lamp parts, but the companys line soon expanded to include tableware, colognes. And candelabra, as one of its advertisements touted.

This is THE lamp that was the pride and joy of a LARGE collection of a VERY particular & serious collector who's collection i have partially acquired. This piece he paid ALOT for in the late 1980s. The cast bronze cherub base is just amazing true elegance no damage at all, hardly even wear this lamp in general has been loved and cared for its entire life. The chimney i was told is original signed B & H Made USA see picture 10. Both shades are good but on both there are flea bites out of the flat part and on the very edges as they have been put on an off over the last 100+ yrs see pictures 7, 8, 9.

On the side of the wick knob is stamped a # possibly Fostoria would have info on this piece. Because i would love to have known who this was made for and why, and who owned it in the Victorian era. Only someone of extreme prominence or wealth, would have had a lamp like this custom made.
