Description: Up for sale is this beautiful circa 1890 Victorian banquet lamp. This is a very well made high quality lamp!
Base is solid bronze, wonderful casting of achantus leaves and an unusual leaf and ball design for the four feet. A cast iron ring in the bottom provides ballast. Column is green onyx with steams of cram and red. Collar is also bronze, again with achantus leaf design.
Font is ribbed green glass with etched floral design. Burner is duplex made in England. Period shade that is frosted with an acid etched floral design. Shade is period but probably not the original. I would think the original shade was green. But this one does work with the lamp and is a period shade. Really a very nice quality banquet lamp that might be of interest.
