Antique Pink Hand Painted Glass & Brass Column Duplex Oil Lamp - Flowers/Swags. A stylish lamp with and pale to deep pink opaline glass font hand painted with flowers and swags sitting on a brass column with stepped base. It has a Sherwoods duplex burner with extinguisher which is probably a later replacement and comes with the wick as show. It will need an appropriate duplex chimney (2.5" fitter) and shade with 4" fitter to finish it off that are not included with this item. I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description.

Condition: In a pretty good used condition, the font has a number of air bubbles, some of them quite long and thin. Towards the collar there is what looks like a small crack or flaw within the glass measuring about 1cm long, it cannot be felt from inside or outside and may have always been present in the font. There is wear to the gilding and some of the paint work. The brass base and burner have been lightly polished but stubborn marks and tarnishing remain along with the odd spot of historic polish residue on the burner.

The burner is probably a later replacement but has working wick winders and extinguisher. Please also see photos including extra ones in the listing.

Size: Total height to top of burner 46cm (Approx 18), Total weight 2.6kg. Collection in person is very much welcomed. For some countries it will be cheaper to send as a single parcel by courier but this will vary on a per country basis.
