THE OTHER SHADE ALSO HAS 2 MINOR CHIPS ON THE TOP RIM. UP FOR SALE IS THIS ORIGINAL PAIR OF VASELINE DUPLEX OIL LAMP SHADES. ONE SHADE IS APPROX 6 1/2" IN HEIGHT AND THE OTHER IS SLIGHTLY MORE THAN 6 1/2" IN HEIGHT. THE STRAIGHT FITTER RIMS ARE APPROX 4. THE SHADES ARE IN GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION.
THE SHADES ARE NOT 100% IDENTICAL , BUT ARE A VERY GOOD PAIR. AS WITH ALL ANTIQUE HAND BLOWN GLASS THERE ARE DIFFERENCES. THE GLASS DOES CONTAIN SOME AIR BUBBLES, SMALL SURFACE SCRATCHES AND BLOWING IMPERFECTIONS TO BE EXPECTED OF ANTIQUE GLASS. THE BOTTOM FITTER HAS A LITTLE ROUGHNESS AND MINOR CHIPS.
